Reservations can be made and payment by credit card using the following link: https://heartsofmiromar.org/reservations

For check payments, please include your menu selection and drop them off at Sharon Purdy’s home at 10299 Porto Romano Drive in Porto Romano. You’ll find a white bench at the entryway with a shell container where checks can be placed. Speaker

Donna leads this 15-year-old garden’s continued growth as both cultural institution and engine of applied environmental science. She has particular expertise in audience development, organizational development, and fundraising. Before leading gardens, her career included development positions in opera, ballet and museums and engagements as a capital campaign consultant. For 10 years she led the Nonprofit Management graduate program of Washington University in St. Louis and served on its adjunct faculty. Donna earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and an MBA, and holds the Professional Certificate for IUCN’s Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions and the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Public Gardens Association, the International Advisory Council of Botanic Gardens Conservation International, and the Board of the local chapter of the International Women’s Forum.

  • Mingles Table: A great choice if you enjoy meeting new people. If you’re coming on your own or aren’t sure you’ll know anyone, don’t worry—this is the perfect spot to connect and make new friends!
