April Charity Details

This month, we are collecting food items to donate to the FGCU Campus Food Pantry (CFP), which supports FGCU students experiencing food insecurity. Food insecurity refers to the lack of access to enough food to meet basic needs due to insufficient financial resources.

The food pantry operates year-round, providing students in need with up to ten pounds of food each week. Hearts of Miromar will be collecting both food donations and monetary contributions. Please make checks payable to FGCU FOOD PANTRY and not to Hearts of Miromar. Your donation is tax-deductible.

The following items are most needed by students: canned chili, canned protein, canned beef stew, mac and cheese boxes, hearty soups, pasta, pasta sauce, jars of jelly, peanut butter, cereal boxes, and granola bars. All non-perishable items are welcome. We will deliver these items to the food pantry director on April 8th, the day of our luncheon. Your generosity is always appreciated.

Clean out your pantries before heading home for the season!
